Is there any information what the BETA5 can do? Mosets are very secretive with information I have found. No docs about the new framework to be seen anywhere on there site.

Hello Stijn,

Template overriding in HP1.0b5 remains the same as with HP1.0b4 or other Joomla 1.5 MVC extensions. Here's a good overview on how you can do it:

@rtenny

The framework is currently used in Hot Property component itself and it's constantly being improved. Because of that we do not have a documentation about it. At this point, the only way you can see how this can be used is by reading the codes - yes, I know, geeky stuff. For now the audience is ourself, but in the future once this is fully developed and ready to be promote to greater audience, we will have more information about this.

Thanks for this. I have no problem reading the code and I must agree that your code is very easy to follow. But sometimes I just wish for a little document rather then tracing through the code with a debugger

Is there any detail on how to use that gallery hook? As I provide a free flash gallery for HP I would like to use the hook rather then have to tell the suer to change the source code.

Thanks for any help.

Check out this plugin - plg_hotproperty_gallery-1.0b5.zip. Once installed, you can find the main codes at

/plugins/hotproperty/gallery.php

and that is the main file that outputs the images. You should be able to create a separate plugin to replace this default one for your flash gallery. If you need more help on this, open a new thread. I'll be more than happy to help
