Default modules not loading in positions assigned

please view this link:

http://69.167.133.94/dining-guide/
modules assigned to "right" position are not loading

http://69.167.133.94/dining-guide/?tp=1
however when looking at it this way, they DO show as being present

on this page http://69.167.133.94/chow/ they all load just fine

what is the issue here?

Default another issue

the category - American is not operating correctly.

As you can see the title is American Chow, and the SEF settings were changed back and forth from alias to id, neither one seems to make the correction to it.

please help

As long as you have assigned modules to 'right' position and publish it to dining-guide menu item, it should appear here. My guess is that you did not publish the module correctly to the right menu item.

Are you using a third party SEF URL? If you are, you'll need to consult them about this.

MT currently supports Joomla core SEF URL only.

how is it possible to not publish correctly? i load the module, assign it to the template position and it should appear, yes? should i just start over with the entire component and templates? if you look at page http://69.167.133.94/chow/ you will see that there are modules in position there that are in "right" position. so why are they not showing since i am using the same template in mtree and also the site nav? Also, the category listings themselves are not loading those positions either.

Not clear as why any other SEF component would over-ride the function of mtree, but I will look in to that. I noticed that any change to the name of the category does not stick, such as Breakfast and Lunch to Breakfast & Lunch still goes to breakfast-and-lunch and if you enter in the alias string by itself, it works just fine.... weird
