Getting the Template to look like the demo

Hey guys, I have installed the template for mosets tree only, as per instructions. However, while viewing it, it does not look like it does on the demo. The listings look like it but not the front page. I would like it to have the categories listed on the left and the little brackets containing top featured searched etc. Any idea where I could have gone wrong??
