Default Lightbox effect for gallery?

Hi guys,

Is it possible to have a lightbox effect on the gallery of the listing, instead of having images open in another window?

Regards,

Miro

I managed to make it myself using yoogallery and a bit of template tweaking. My question now is...

The main image at the top (the bigger image over the thumbnails), is the same as the first thumbnail. How can i get the first thumbnail not to show? So the thumbnails showing start with image 2?

Bellow is the code i am using in the sub_images template:

PHP Code:
<?php if (

is_array($this->images
    &&
    !empty(
$this->images)
    ):
?>
<div class="images">
    <div class="content"><?php
        $i
0;

$totalImages count($this->images);
        foreach (
$this->images AS $image):
            if(
$i ==
            {

?>
                <div class="thumbnail first"><a href="<?php echo $this->mtconf['relative_path_to_listing_medium_image'] . $image->filename ?>" rel="shadowbox[a]"><img src="<?php

echo $this->jconf['live_site'] . $this->mtconf['relative_path_to_listing_medium_image'] . $image->filename;

?>" img="" /></a></div><?php
                $i
++;
                if(
$totalImages == )    continue;
            }

?>
        <div class="thumbnail-left"><a href="<?php echo $this->mtconf['relative_path_to_listing_medium_image'] . $image->filename ?>" rel="shadowbox[a]"><img src="<?php

echo $this->jconf['live_site'] . $this->mtconf['relative_path_to_listing_small_image'] . $image->filename;

?>" img="" /></a></div><?php
            $i
++;
        endforeach;

?>
    </div>
</div>
<?php endif; ?>
Any feedback welcome!

Hi, I'm probably a bit late. Did you manage this? I have successfully accomplished this.

My hack uses the original images for the lightbox and it skips the repeated image issue you pointed out.

Get in touch if you need it. I'll post a demo as soon as it's live.

I didnt manage to stop the image from repeating. If you want, take a look...

Oh, you've done it differently from me. I had the first image repeat when showing the lightbox gallery, you have it repeated beneath.

I hide my thumbnails, but I think my fix could be altered to help your situation. I'd have to test it first though.

LIGHTBOX EFFECT USING JOOMLA 1.5+ and HP 1.0

sign up for a free account and download yooeffects plugin from
http://www.yootheme.com/member-area/downloads

Install the plugin, and enable lightbox from the plugin manager

Then navigate to

/plugins/hotproperty/gallery.php

around line 59 find:

PHP Code:
<li class="photo">
                    <?php if ($hotproperty->getCfg('img_saveoriginal') && $photo->original) : ?>
                        <a href="<?php echo MosetsApplication::getPath('media_images_original_url''hotproperty') . $photo->original?>">
                    <?php endif; ?>
                            <?php echo MosetsHTML::_('hotproperty.image.photo''standard'$photo->standard$photo->title, array('id' => 'photo-' $photo->id)); ?>
                    <?php if ($hotproperty->getCfg('img_saveoriginal') && $photo->original) : ?>
                        </a>
                    <?php endif; ?>
                    <p class="caption">
                        <span class="title"><?php echo $photo->title?></span>
                    <?php if ($photo->desc) : ?>
                        <?php echo $photo->desc?>
                    <?php endif; ?>
                    </p>
</li>
change to

PHP Code:
<li class="photo">
                    <?php if ($hotproperty->getCfg('img_saveoriginal') && $photo->original) : ?>
                        <a href="<?php echo MosetsApplication::getPath('media_images_original_url''hotproperty') . $photo->original?>" rel="shadowbox">
                    <?php endif; ?>
                            <?php echo MosetsHTML::_('hotproperty.image.photo''standard'$photo->standard$photo->title, array('id' => 'photo-' $photo->id)); ?>
                    <?php if ($hotproperty->getCfg('img_saveoriginal') && $photo->original) : ?>
                        </a>
                    <?php endif; ?>
                    <p class="caption">
                        <span class="title"><?php echo $photo->title?></span>
                    <?php if ($photo->desc) : ?>
                        <?php echo $photo->desc?>
                    <?php endif; ?>
                    </p>
</li>

Enjoy it!

How do you get this to work. Unzip and copy the files in the Kinabalu folder? Do you need to do anything then??
Thanks, I would love to use this.
