Smart Search Finder Mechansism

I am using Mosets finder and the mtree_listings.php file in Smart Search. In my Mosets listings I have a mambot which generates a table of text and numbers from the database. I wish this text to be indexed as part of SmartSearch.

I have been going through the code and I will need to add an SQL query, presumably to "function index", to extract the text and numbers from the relevant mambot tables.

However I am confused about which fields to set in FinderIndexerResult item.

Can somebody provide some pointers? I cannot find sufficient documentation in the code or online to get to the bottom of this.
