If you need any support from developer, its better to contact him via private support forum.
This is just community forum and not much alive
I never used Kinabalu template, but I think breadcrumb is handled the standard way with Joomla module "breadcrumbs".
So just press New module and publish "Breadcrumbs" on position in your Kinabalu template where you like.
