Default change the width of right column and the height of the header

I tried to change the height of the header from 120 to 180, but the main menu in top position stayed in the same place. And I tried to change the width of the right column from 245 to 200, and the main column from 580 to 625. But the width of the right column changed and the main column didn't.

Thanks!

Re: Header height.

There are 2 values that you need to change to affect the header's height.

FILE: http://demo.mosets.com/tree/template...mplate_css.css
LINE 54
Change the #header's height to 180px (from 120px). ie:
Code:
#header {
border-color:#FFFFFF;
color:#C2C2C2;
height:180px;
margin:0;
padding:0;
}
And increase the #logo height from 70px to 13px in line 69:
Code:
#logo {
height:130px;
margin:10px 0 0 20px;
}
The main columns (#maincol) width is defined in it's style attribute. You can change it here:

/templates/mosets_kinabalu/index.php

LINE: 16 - 17
CODE:
PHP Code:
if( $hasLeftCol ) { $mainColWidth -= 160; }
if(
$hasRightCol ) { $mainColWidth -= 260; }
Adjust the value of 160 and 260 accordingly according to your changes made to right (or left) column's width.

Hi,

When changing the code in the index.hmtl for the width of the left and right
columns, the columns keep the prior size (160 and 260)

if( $hasLeftCol ) { $mainColWidth -= 200; }
if( $hasRightCol ) { $mainColWidth -= 220; }

Please advise.

TIA

/templates/mosets_kinabalu/css/template_css.css
Edit these lines:

LINE 152
Code:
#leftcol {
    float: left;
    width: 160px;
}
LINE 157
Code:
#rightcol {
    float: right;
    margin-left: 15px;
    width: 245px;
}
and change their width value accordingly.

I did the following changes and the widths got changed accordly. But then the mainbody went to the bottom section of the template.

Please see here

#leftcol {
float:left;
width:175px; // dejh 160px;
}

#rightcol {
float:right;
width:230px; // dejh 245px;
margin-left:15px;

TIA

Did you make the corresponding changes to /templates/mosets_kinabalu/index.php to reflect your new left column width? ie:
PHP Code:
if( $hasLeftCol ) { $mainColWidth -= 175; }

Since you are also modifying the right column, use this:
PHP Code:
if( $hasRightCol ) { $mainColWidth -= 230; }
