Question Newbie needs help

Hi all,

I installed on Joomla 1.5 and the latest version of Hotproperty and get the follwoing error.

Hi debrathomas,

Passing arguments by reference at function call time was deprecated in PHP5. Even if HP 1.0 is PHP5 compatible, it is written (as Joomla is) in PHP4.

Your PHP version is most likely 5, and this is ok. But to avoid these undesirable warning message, I suggest you to:
  • turn Joomla's error reporting to level 'none'
  • or alternatively set allow_call_time_pass_reference to true in your php.ini file

This issue has been fixed in our next RC1 release, which will be release really soon.

Default Thanks

I turned off errors in the global config to none and added the line
allow_call_time_pass_reference=true to the php.ini file but still get the same errors.

Any suggestions
