Availability Extension for Joomla 1.5??

When will the Availability Extension be available for Joomla 1.5? We purchased this extension without seeing anything saying it was not yet compatible. I only discovered this after Googling the error I got when I tried to install it.

We will be working on a compatible version for Joomla! 1.5 but right now we have no timeframe for the release as yet. We have stated the compatibility in the Availability extension page at http://www.mosets.com/hotproperty/availability/

Hi guys - Are we talking days, weeks or months here?

We are developing a new site and would like to use J1.5 with Hp1.0 but if the availability extension is weeks off then we will have to remain with the older versions.

Just be good to have a rough idea.

Sorry about the lack of update on this.

Development on moving this addon to Joomla! 1.5 native hasn't been started yet - not that we don't want to, but because we're tied up with other works. I have been working hard on bringing Mosets Tree 2.1 for Joomla! 1.5 plus work on J.org and Antoine has been committed to work on the core Hot Property extension.

My plan is to get this started and done once MT 2.1 is released. There will be support for Joomla! 1.5.

Thanks for the reply. Great to hear there is support for J 1.5. Next question then is if I purchase HP and the availability extension for J 1.0 will they be upgradable to the newest versions of HP and availability when you release the extension? Also is there a fee for the upgrade.

Hi Andrew,

We plan to make the upgrade possible for users currently using Availability extension on HP 0.98. At this point, we are not charging for updates to all Hot Property extensions. This may change in the future since the new version will be released under a new license - GNU GPL.

I too am waiting to see this available before I take the leap to buy the product. I'm a bit concerned that it's taking so long as it seems like a must have for any professional listing site! Any more feedback on when it may appear, or is there an alternative out there somewhere?

Hi - I also made the error of buying compatibility thinking it would support Joomla 1.5. It looks from the thread that this is NEVER going to get done - as it seems to have spanned a few YEARS and still no word.

Can I assume I have wasted my money, then?

Mosets development / support team, is there anyone there?

Please can someone answer this relatively straight forward question. The last input from the Mosets team was May 2009.

It is obviously an important feature requirement from users / prospective clients judging by the numbers of views that this thread has had.
