Default Any news since 2005?

i used HP 4 years ago, im thinking on using it again for a new site but it seems this component is still on 2005, were there any improvements and new stuff added since then?

. is there a quick search module with several fields already or we still have to copy code from advanced search for it?

- does it have Google maps?

- does it have multilanguage?

I liked HP very much 4 years ago, but has it evolved?
Let me know if its worth it so i can buy it

I'm also have over 3 year experience in HP, but as developer. Recently I developed Google maps plugin for HP1.0 for example.

As regards multi-language support, it's not supported by HP as a component. Still it has some features built-in with Joomla. And from my experience of multi-lang support, if you don't have only 1 or 2 "targeted" languages, it's better to use Google translate for up to 40 (if I'm not mistaking) languages. Quality of the translation is not very high, but it saves a lot of efforts and time.

Several fields in search module are already implemented - fields could be selected from module's back-end.

the google map plug in works great, but judging by the number of dead threads on this forum you may want to keep looking - I wish I had.

As far as I can tell following about 4 months of searching and frustration and disappointment, SEF404 still doesnt work with HP. Total nightmare. The latest upgrade to HP was disastrous, and it appears that support for the product is catatonic at best.

IŽd keep lookig if I were you.
