ZipCodeShop has created a new postal code / radius search for Hot Property. It is a simple add-on that works with your existing Hot Property component. With it your site visitors can find property by selecting a country, entering a postal code with a search radius and all properties fitting the search criteria within that radius will be displayed.

Since it extends the existing advanced search any of your other fields can also be searched at the same time (e.g. a site visitor can find all properties within a given radius that have more than 3 bedrooms, a swimming pool and cost less than $150,000).

We have not announced to the general public yet as we want your feedback and also have a special offer. Anyone who registers on the demo site as an agent and creates at least two demo property listings in any country we support will receive a coupon worth $24 off the purchase price of $99. This is a great opportunity to test the functionality of our component with properties you create and save a significant amount of money while doing it.

Once you have registered on the demo site at http://www.glyfada.net/index.php?option=com_registration&task=register we will add you as an agent. You can then create your demo properties. We will review your listings and after approving them will forward you your coupon. We only ask that you create as realistic a listing as possible and they must be in English.

Our demo can be found here (we have created two test properties in the United States):

http://www.glyfada.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=12&Itemid=29

You can test it by selecting the United States as your country, entering 30005 as your zip code and selecting 10 miles as the search radius. Then click the search button and your results will be displayed.

While our demo displays a general search form, all the fields can be customized or simplified (hiding the country dropdown and limiting it to one country). You can have any of your questions answered by our live support staff at http://www.zipcodeshop.com/

We look forward to your feedback. Feel free to contact ZipCodeShop through this board if you have any questions. I have included a small snapshot to give you an idea of what the search form looks like.

Hi, Nick:

Note that palikari's post was from 2007. If you search for "ZipCodeShop" on the Mosets Tree forums, you will find some comments in 2009 from customers of ZipCodeShop.

Hope this helps,
