Hi
Without changing anything today my website was not working anymore. This was the message: Database connection error (2): Could not connect to MySQL. After changing the database user and password and editing it in the configuration.php it didn't work either. I had the same problem with a smaller mosets database in an other joomla installation in a subfolder as well but there the new database user/password worked. When I now check the database I can click on every table only not on the table __mt_links After clicking on it the database crashes. I run Joomla 2.5.4 and Mosets 2.2. I have 1837 entries in the table. I really do not know how to solve the problem. I would appreciate if someone would know a solution to this. Regards, |

3 things you could do or try....
1. In Mtree Admin click the link Recount Cats/Listings sometimes this seems to fix DB issues. 2. In PhpMyAdmin use the Repair Table function 3. If all this fails then log a Priority Support Q, Lee from Mosets doesn't seem to monitor these user forums as much anymore but I believe he is reasonably promp with priority support replies. Hope this helps Regards Steve Developer of PaymentsPlus |

Thank you for your reply.
I contacted my hoster and he did the repair table function and now it works again. Even though some files/data changed. For example is the website title different than before. It took the title of another website in a subfolder. Strange! Nevertheless it works again, thank you. |

When I got this is because mysql was off
I've restarted it, and it worked again |
