Static Content To Display Above HP Frontpage

I am fairly new to Joomla and Hot Property so please bare with me here. I have got Hot Property to display on my home page but I was wondering the best way to have some intro text and an image display above the Hot Property compnent for my home page.

If anyone knows the best way to do this please let me know.

Hi there,

One way is by using a custom module to show the introduction text and image. You can do this at your site's back-end Module Manager by clicking 'New' and select 'Custom HTML'.
