How hard would it be to program the ability to reorder categories and listings? The same way you can reorder modules in Joomla admin with the little blue arrows.
Thanks,

Hi,
I did not get any responces to this and opened a ticket.
I've been looking for the support ticket that had the information that described the following but it seems to be missing part of the thread.
I ended up going in phpmyadmin and changing the created dates and times for my categories. If you have your cats listed in descending order then make the dates and times in phpmyadmin reflect the order that you want.
I guess it would be easy to just enter them this way to begin with but I will be adding additional cats later and so the phpmyadmin thing will have to do.
I can't remember the folder in phpmyadmin. It was in a support ticket but that info dissapeared.
Hope this helps.

Little blue arrows would be awsome but for now this is how to do it.
> This is how you can reproduce the same effect:
> - Open up phpMyAdmin
> - Go to the table named 'jos_mt_cats'
> - Now, select the categories you wish to custom order by checking
> the checkbox and then click the edit button at below.
> - You will see a new page with loads of input fields, change the
> "created" field in asecending order.
> Hope this can get you started.

Hi Matt,
Good start to your site.
You might have noticed by my posts also that I'm kind of a newb at Joomla. I was puting together a site related to construction and a certain type of home building. I know I used a boat theme to describe one of my questions in this forum but I do not have a boat site in the making. Although I love them. I lived on Kelley's Island for two summers. http://www.kelleysisland.com/ I did not design this sight but the designer was the dishwasher at the bar were I was a bartender 20 years ago. Funny. This is the first time I visited his site since starting Joomla. I just at this moment noticed he is using Joomla.
I decided to start designing a few sites for some friends who own business's. My first one will be for a buddy who owns a landscape business. I will not be using Mosets tree for his project.
Sorry but I don't have a Mtree site to show right now.
